Overview

Escape to an island-focused 8-day journey to experience the tropical charm of Malaysia. The tour features the transition from the capital to the majestic island destinations. Upon your arrival at Kuala Lumpur Airport, you will be met by our representative for the rest of your trip.

After exploring the capital city’s iconic landmark and enjoying a world-class shopping experience at Chinatown.  

Trip further proceeds to Langkawi, dive into the island hopping, enjoying water sports, turquoise waters, riding famous cable cars for panoramic views, and lush rainforests for canopy walks. 

The third phase of the trip is to visit Penang to see modern attractions, such as the suspended glass bridge, and to try the culinary delights of Malaysia's food capital.

Itinerary

The tour starts in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, and proceeds to Langkawi Island. Then the tour moves to Penang, the food capital of Malaysia, to enjoy the culinary specialties.
Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur – Gateway to Malaysia

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, relax and unwind.
In the evening, step out to admire the glittering skyline filled with dazzling skyscrapers and vibrant city life. Enjoy a leisurely walk through lively streets, visit nearby cafes and restaurants, and savour Malaysia’s diverse culinary flavours. You may also choose to enjoy dinner with a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

Overnight Stay : Kuala Lumpur 

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur City Tour+

After breakfast, proceed on a guided city tour of Kuala Lumpur. Visit prominent landmarks, including the King’s Palace, National Monument, National Mosque, and Independence Square, each representing the city’s rich heritage and architectural elegance. 

Continue to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers for memorable photo opportunities (optional visit to Observation Deck subject to availability). The afternoon is free for shopping at premium malls, exploring local markets, or relaxing at a cafe. Evening is at leisure.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi – Island Paradise+

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Langkawi, the Jewel of Kedah. On arrival, transfer to the resort and complete check-in formalities. Spend the rest of the day at leisure—relax by the beach, enjoy the resort facilities, or take a soothing walk along the shoreline. End the day with a stunning sunset view.

Day 4: Langkawi Island Tour+

After breakfast, proceed for a Langkawi Island Tour. Explore nature’s wonders, including Kilim Geoforest Park and Mat Cincang Forest Reserve (where applicable as per inclusions).

Visit major attractions such as Eagle Square, Sky Bridge, and other scenic viewpoints ideal for photography. Later, enjoy free time to relax on the beach, rejuvenate with a spa session, or participate in optional water sports activities.

Day 5: Langkawi to Penang – by flight+

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Penang, Malaysia’s cultural heart. Upon arrival in George Town, transfer to your hotel and check in. 

In the evening, explore the charming heritage streets adorned with colonial buildings, colourful street art, traditional shophouses, and lively markets. Taste Penang’s world-famous street food, influenced by Malay, Chinese, and Indian flavours.

Day 6: Penang Heritage Exploration+

After breakfast, proceed on a guided Penang heritage tour. Visit the impressive Kek Lok Si Temple, one of Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist temples. Continue exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites that showcase Penang’s multicultural heritage and architectural beauty. 

Enjoy scenic viewpoints offering picturesque views of the island and mainland. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, shopping, relaxing, or exploring independently.

Day 7: Penang to Pangkor Island – Secluded Beach Escape+

After breakfast, check out and depart for Pangkor Island, a serene tropical retreat known for its tranquillity and crystal-clear waters. Upon arrival, check in to your beach resort. 

Spend the day at leisure, enjoying peaceful beaches, soothing sea breezes, and a relaxing island atmosphere—perfect for unwinding or a romantic evening by the shore.

Overnight Stay : Pangkor Island

Day 8: Pangkor Island – Departure+
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and check out. Transfer back to the mainland and continue to the airport (Ipoh or Kuala Lumpur) for your onward departure.
