Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary

This expansive sanctuary covers 893 sq km and is designated as a Tiger Reserve. Since being declared a tiger reserve in April 2012, significant measures have been implemented to curb poaching. A safari here is sure to thrill and excite visitors. Located 250 kilometres from Hyderabad, the sanctuary is home to diverse trees like teak, bamboo, Terminalia, and Anogeisus. It is undoubtedly worth a visit.

Paranahita Wildlife

Spread over 136 sq km, this sanctuary offers a glimpse of lush, natural forests reminiscent of India's Northeast. Enriched by the flowing Pranahita River, the area's beauty is enhanced by its rich biodiversity. Commonly sighted animals include sloth bears, langurs, forest cats, tigers, hyenas, and leopards. The ideal time to visit is from October to March.

Jainath Temple

Located 21 km from Adilabad, in the Jain village, this temple, rooted in Jain architecture, houses a Prakrit stone inscription with 20 slokas. Attracting numerous devotees, especially between Karthika Sudda Astami and Bahula Saptami, it stands close to Lord Lakshmi Narayana Swami Temple, another prominent shrine.
