Begin your extraordinary journey in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s vibrant capital, before venturing to the southern edge of the world and beyond. This 14 Nights / 15 Days Antarctica Expedition Tour combines South American culture with one of Earth’s most remote and breathtaking destinations.
After arriving in Buenos Aires, fly to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, where you board a purpose-built expedition vessel. Sail through the stunning Beagle Channel and cross the legendary Drake Passage, accompanied by expert-led lectures on Antarctic wildlife, geography, climate, and exploration history.
Your first Antarctic encounters unfold in the South Shetland Islands, home to international research stations, volcanic landscapes, and thriving penguin colonies. Continue south to the spectacular Antarctic Peninsula, where Zodiac landings allow close encounters with glaciers, icebergs, seals, whales, and penguins at iconic locations such as Neko Harbour, Paradise Bay, Cuverville Island, Danco Island, Port Lockroy, and the dramatic Lemaire Channel.
A major highlight of this expedition is the attempt to cross the Antarctic Circle (66°33′ South)—a rare achievement celebrated onboard. Explore Marguerite Bay, visit historic sites like Horseshoe Island and Station Y, and enjoy optional activities such as polar plunges or scenic helicopter flights (subject to conditions).
As the ship journeys north, enjoy final Zodiac cruises in whale-rich waters like Wilhelmina Bay and Gerlache Strait before returning via the Drake Passage. Conclude your adventure back in Buenos Aires, carrying unforgettable memories of Earth’s last great wilderness.
Explore Antarctica on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition cruise featuring South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctic Circle crossing, wildlife, and expert-led landings.
