The tour starts from Haridwar, from where you will be transferred towards Gangotri, the origin point of the river. From Gangotri, the tour gradually flows down, with the flow of the sacred river, towards Devprayag and Rishikesh, which offer stunning views, along with a stunning cultural experience.
The tour, from Rishikesh, reaches Haridwar, which offers a serene atmosphere, along with vibrant ghats. The tour also flows down to Prayagraj and Varanasi, two of the most significant spiritual sites, located alongside the river.
Prayagraj, the Sangam City, boasts the Trivani Sangam, a site where the two major rivers, the Yamuna and the Saraswati, merge with the River Ganga. Similarly, the city of Varanasi, which is also known as the Spiritual Capital of India, houses the prominent Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a most significant religious site.
The Sacred Ganges Spiritual Journey starts from Haridwar, where, upon your arrival, our experienced representative will ensure a safe and comfortable transfer to Gangotri, the first destination of the tour.
Gangotri is located about 280 kilometres away, and takes roughly 8 hours to reach. On the first day in Gangotri, you can explore the Harsil Valley, a picturesque location near Gangotri, which features lush green meadows and is renowned for its vast apple plantation.

On the early morning of the second day, you visit the main shrine, the Gangotri Temple. The temple is also considered the major stop point of the Chota Char Dham Yatra. You can also visit the picturesque Gaumukh, the actual snout, located at the Glacier of Ganges.
After exploring Gangotri, you can move towards Devprayag on the third day of your tour. Located about 270 kilometres from Gangotri, Devprayag houses the sacred Sangam, a confluence, where the Alaknanda River and the Bhagirathi River merge.
On the second day in Devprayag, you explore the prominent spiritual sites, like the Ancient Raghunathji Temple. Dedicated to Lord Rama, the temple is located near the Sangam and is believed to be the location where Lord Rama performed penance. In Devprayag, you can also explore the Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev Temple, a prominent temple accessible by a short trek.
From Devprayag, you can move towards Rishikesh, located about 70 kilometres away. Known as the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh is among the major pilgrimage sites in the Hindu religion, and also acts as the gateway to the Himalayas.
In Rishikesh, you can enjoy a picturesque evening at the Triveni Ghat, which hosts the evening Ganga Aarti, offering a mesmerising experience to the visitors. You can also visit the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, which is also known as the Beatles Ashram.
On the second day in Rishikesh, you can explore various key tourist attractions and spiritual sites in the city. You can explore the Paramarth Niketan Ashram, one of the renowned locations for Ganga Aarti. You can also experience the bustling markets of the city, along with the renowned Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula.
On the seventh day of your tour, you can reach Haridwar, the city which is known as the “Gateway to Gods”. In Haridwar, you can experience a peaceful and memorable evening witnessing the mesmerising Ganga Aarti at the Har Ki Pauri. On the first day, you can also enjoy the bustling market of the city, feasting on delicious and mouthwatering dishes, like spicy Chole Bhature, Crispy Kachori, Aloo Puri, and Rabri-Jalebi, among others.
On the second day in Haridwar, you can explore the spiritual sites of the city. In Haridwar, you can visit the stunning Mansa Devi Temple, which is located on a hilltop and is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Mansa. Accessible by ropeway or stairs, the temples offer a scenic view of the city. In the city, you can also explore the majestic Chandi Devi Temple, which is also located on a hilltop and offers visitors a panoramic view of the city.
On the ninth day of your tour, you can move towards the Sangam City, Prayagraj, which is situated about 700 kilometres from Haridwar, and takes roughly 13 hours to reach. The city of Prayagraj is among the most prominent and significant sites along the River Ganga.
On the first day in Prayagraj, you can visit the popular spiritual site in the city, Triveni Sangam, a sacred confluence, where three prominent rivers, the River Ganga, the Yamuna, and the Saraswati meet.
You can also explore the Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, which is also known as the Lete Hanuman Ji Mandir, which features the famous reclining idol of Lord Hanuman.
On the second day in Prayagraj, you can explore the iconic Patal Puri Temple, an ancient underground temple, situated within the famous Allahabad Fort. You can also explore the ancient Mankameshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. In Prayagraj, you can also explore the prominent Nag Vasuki Temple, located along the banks of the river Ganga.
On the eleventh day of your tour, you can move towards the Spiritual Capital of India, Varanasi. Situated about 120 kilometres away from Prayagraj, the city is among the world's oldest inhabited cities.
In Varanasi, you start your tour by visiting the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is among the most prominent shrines in the Hindu religion. On the first day, you can also visit the Kaal Bhairav Temple, dedicated to the fierce guardian deity of the city.
On the second day in Varanasi, you can explore the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the city. You can explore the renowned Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, which is also known as Monkey Temple.
You can also explore various serene Ghats of the city, like the Dashashwamedh Ghat, which is considered the heart of the city, and hosts the famous evening Ganga Aarti, with music, fire, and full of devotion.
