The fort's entrance, adorned with shrines dedicated to Goddess Durga and Lord Ganapathi, captivates all who visit. A few yards in, you'll discover a Jain sanctum in the Chalukyan style. The Mukhamantaapa, with its exquisite lotus designs carved into the ceilings, stands as a highlight. Winding through the maze-like paths, visitors encounter two remarkable mosques, showcasing a fusion of Indo-Saracenic and Deccan art. Besides these, the grounds are dotted with remnants of ancient structures, whispering tales of the past. Although the original structures no longer stand, the Belgaum Fort serves as a testament to our ancestors.
