The Pahari temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the devotees need to climb up 468 steps to reach the temple. You can also extend your first day route to the stunning Jagannath Temple, which was built in 1691. The temple is situated atop a hillock and is located about 10 kilometres away from the city.
On the second day of your tour, you can visit the famous and iconic Rajrappa Temple. The temple is located at the confluence of the Bhera and the Damodar rivers, and a headless goddess, Maa Chhinnmastika, is worshipped in the temple.
In Rajrappa, you can spend the night exploring local dishes, like the famous Mutton Pachoni and Dhuska. Meat Salan and Chika Roti are also among the must-try dishes in Rajrappa.
After praying at the temple, you can travel towards Deoghar, a city which houses one of the 12 Jyotilingas. You can explore and spend the night in the city of Deoghar.
The Baba Baidyanath Dham, or Baidyanath Temple, is considered among the major pilgrimage sites in the Hindu religion, where Lord Shiva is worshipped. In Deoghar, you can also visit Trikut Pahar and Tapovan, which are among the key outdoor attractions near Deoghar.
