Overview

The West Bengal Pilgrimage Tour is a spiritually enriching journey through one of India’s most sacred regions, home to some of the most significant Shaktipeeths in Hindu mythology.

According to legend, these divine sites mark where the body parts of Goddess Sati fell, sanctifying each temple as a powerful centre of energy and worship.

Your pilgrimage begins at Mangal Chandi Temple and Phullara Shaktipeeth, where divine grace radiates through ancient rituals and temple bells. The journey continues to the Bahula Temple at Ketugram, a sacred seat symbolising faith and compassion.

As you travel through the spiritual heartland of Bengal, each site unveils a unique legend and architectural splendour that connects myth with devotion.

In Murshidabad, you visit Kiriteswari Temple, the oldest Shaktipeeth in Bengal, steeped in centuries of reverence. The Nandikeshwari Temple at Sainthia resonates with the divine feminine power, drawing thousands of devotees seeking blessings and inner peace.

The next stop is to Birbhum, where we cover Kankalitala, Nalateshwari, and Bakreshwar Temple, each renowned for its mystical energy and vibrant worship traditions.

Your journey concludes at Jogadya Temple, where devotion and serenity merge, offering a profound sense of spiritual fulfilment. Beyond the temples, the pilgrimage also opens a window to Bengal’s heritage, from serene countryside drives and local cuisine to the devotional songs that fill the temple courtyards.

This four-day odyssey is not just a visit to temples; it’s a spiritual awakening that offers peace, purpose, and a renewed connection to the divine. Perfect for seekers, devotees, and those longing for a journey that touches the soul.
