The three-story marble grandeur dedicated to Lord Rishabadeva is the Chaturmukha Jain Temple, which, located on a plinth in the Aravalli Range, is the Ranakpur Jain Temple. It stands as a vibrant testament to rich cultural heritage and extraordinary architecture, impervious to the ravages of time.

History: 

The grand Ranakpur Jain Temple, constructed over fifty years (1446-1496) through the dedicated work of artisans, embodies divine bliss in every intricately carved stone. The temple boasts exquisite sculptures, elaborately designed figurines, pillars adorned with marvellous artworks, and a plethora of artistic elements throughout, inducing a sense of ecstasy in its visitors.

Each of the temple's four entrances leads to the sanctum, housing four 72-inch statues of Bhagavan Adinath that face the four cardinal directions, replicated across the three levels of the edifice. Additionally, the premises house 76 smaller domed shrines, four assembly halls, principal shrines, numerous sub-shrines, and, notably, 1444 uniquely carved pillars, each accentuating the grandeur of this architectural marvel.

Festivals: 

Mahavir Janma Kalyanak or Mahavir Jayanti, commemorating the birthday of Mahavir, the founder of Jainism, stands as the most significant festival at the Ranakpur Jain Temple. During this festival, thousands of devotees engage in varied rituals, bringing the temple to life.

• Ranakpur Festival: Celebrated during December, the 2-day annual Ranakpur Festival features folk dances, classical music, and various cultural celebrations.  
• Deepotsav: The festival features spectacular lighting and is held during the Ranakpur Festival.
• Mahavir Jayanti: The Mahavir Jayanti, or the birth anniversary of the Lord Mahavira, is considered a major festival. The festival includes special prayers and processions. 

Dress Code: A strict dress code requires visitors to wear attire covering legs, shoulders, and arms.

Temple Timings: Open daily from 6 AM to 7 PM, the temple welcomes adherents of both Jainism and other faiths.
