Itinerary

The Chopta Tungnath Chandrashila Trek tour is a 4-day and 3-night tour, taking you to the high altitudes for a thrilling time. Enjoy the scenic views from Tungnath and Chadrashila, and then later heal your soul by the Deorital Lake, soaking in its serenity.

Day 1: Transfer to Chopta−

Start your adventure-filled Uttarakhand tour from Delhi. You will be transferred to Chopta overnight. You will reach Chopta the next day, and you can check into your hotel or other accommodations and spend your day relaxing in the scenic beauty of the "Mini Switzerland of India". Rest up for your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Chopta Transfer and Camping+

Start your Chopta exploration with a scenic journey. En route, enjoy the picturesque landscapes and stop by Devprayag to witness the flowing beauty of "Sangam", the place of confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers. Then continue your journey, passing through Srinagar. You will arrive at the campsite in Chopta. Enjoy a night under the stars, camping in the “Mini Switzerland of India”.

Day 3: Tungnath and Chandrashila Trekking+

Start your day early to witness the stunning sunrise from an elevation of 2,709 metres. After a delicious breakfast, you will start your ascent to the Tungnath Chandrashila Trek, the highest temple of Lord Shiva. You will reach the Tungnath Temple first, from where you can enjoy the landscapes and relax in the serene spirituality.
You will then continue your journey towards Chandrashila Peak. After your adventure, trek back to the campsite and head to Sari Village. Upon reaching Sari Village, check into your hotel and stay overnight.

Trekking: Activity Details

You will start your trek from Chopta and head to Tungnath first. The route offers calming landscapes and scenic views to the travellers.
The route is a gradual ascent. You will eventually reach Tungnath Temple, which is at an altitude of approximately 3680 metres.
After visiting and exploring the Tungnath Temple, you will then head towards Chandrashila Peak.
The route from Tungnath to Chandrashila is also an ascent. Enjoy the fascinating views throughout your trek.

Day 4: Deorital Lake and Departure to Delhi+

After a fulfilling breakfast, you will be transferred to the start of your trekking point for Deorital Lake. Deorital Lake offers mesmerising views; a tranquil waterbody surrounded by lush greens and snow-capped mountains.
After exploring the heavenly location, you will then trek back and drive back to Sari Village. Upon your arrival, pack your bags as you will then start your descent to Chopta. You will then be transferred to Rishikesh, from where you will begin your overnight journey to Delhi.

Trekking: Activity Details

You will begin your trek to Deoriatal Lake after breakfast.
The trek to Deoriatal Lake is a 2.5 km calming and mesmerising journey.
You can spend your time at the Deoriatal Lake and enjoy the scenic views of lush greenery, the snow-capped mountains, and the crystal-clear lake.
After your exploration, trek back and then return to your hotel.
