Itinerary

A 6-day Kerala package covering Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, and Alleppey, with hill station visits, wildlife encounters, spice plantations, and serene backwater cruises.

Day 1: Cochin

Upon your arrival, our representative from Cholan Tours will receive and assist you with a quick hotel check-in. After relaxing for a while, head towards Mattancherry Palace in Kochi. Also, visit Fort Kochi and St. Francis Church, two of the most visited heritage sites in Kerala. Kochi is renowned as a natural harbour in South India and a significant trading port, captivating everyone with its iconic Chinese fishing nets. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar+

Visit the cascading Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls en route to Munnar on NH 49 (Kochi-Madurai Highway), and add merriment to your travel. Experience the adventure in Kerala by embarking on a trek, followed by relaxation in the evening among the lush green tea plantations in Munnar. Return to the hotel at Munnar for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Munnar+

Start your day by exploring a list of Munnar's top tourist attractions. Head towards Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and a hub for wildlife lovers in Kerala. Witness different varieties of tea plantations in the Tea Museum, Munnar, before visiting Nyayamkad Waterfalls, one of the most scenic spots in Kerala. Immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of the ambience. Return to the hotel for an overnight in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady+

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Thekkady, a region popular for the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Come across lush green plains, meadows, and Kerala spice plantations. You can opt for boat riding in Periyar Lake and a safari on the back of an elephant in Thekkady. You can even spot a tiger in proximity. Walk along the organic spice gardens and gain insights into the spices grown in Kerala. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady - Alleppey+

After breakfast, head to Alleppey (Venice of the East). The network of Kerala lagoons and lakes is complemented by cosy, well-designed, and decorated Alleppey houseboats, a prominent tourist attraction in Alleppey. After your arrival at Alleppey, our representative from Cholan Tours will assist you with a smooth check-in at the hotel.

After relaxing for a while, you can begin to explore the must-visit places in Alleppey. Visit the Karunakaran Memorial Museum, the largest museum, where you can find incredible artefacts that exhibit historic moments. Marvel at the architecture of Krishnaswamy Temple, then proceed to Alappuzha Beach and the lighthouse. Spend your evening with a blissful experience before returning to the hotel.

Day 6: Alleppey - Cochin+

Post breakfast, visit the local shopping zones of Alleppey. Also, you can spend time at Marari Beach, another beautiful Kerala beach destination. With all the captivating experiences, proceed back to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your return journey.
