During a significant event, the Trimurtis, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva, visited this site. They transformed into three large stone pillars, wishing to reside here permanently. Their continuing presence serves as a testament to the unending flux of the world.

Each year, Sri Hanumath Jayanti is celebrated with great fervour for 12 days, featuring special rites such as abhishekas, homas, and poojas. Maha Prasada is offered daily to thousands of devotees.
