A Bit of Mythology:

So, there's a cool story behind this. Krishna was once sent as a special messenger by the Pandavas to Duryodhana. This was after the Pandavas had spent thirteen long years in exile. Krishna bravely asked Duryodhana to return their rightful land, but Duryodhana had other plans; he tried to bump off Krishna during a dinner. But guess what? Krishna saw right through it and showed his gigantic form, which completely freaked Duryodhana out. In the end, the Pandavas got their land back, all thanks to Krishna, who’s now fondly called Pandava Thoothar.

Why It's Special:

The lord at this temple is shown in an interesting Vishwapadhayoga pose where his feet touch the ground. Walking around this temple can actually help strengthen your muscles & nerves, pretty neat, huh?
