This region gives you a chance to encounter elephants, bison, sambar deer, and a variety of bird species, making it a haven for adventure enthusiasts. The experience continues to Kumarakom, a backwater haven surrounded by coconut palms and Vembanad Lake, with opportunities to spot migratory birds at the bird sanctuary. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be met and greeted by our Guest Relations Executive, who will then transfer you to the hotel. After refreshing, if time permits, explore the heritage city, including St. Francis Church, the oldest European-built church, where Vasco da Gama was first buried. Visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace (closed on Fridays), and the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays).

After breakfast, proceed towards Periyar, an exotic land blessed with verdant forests and spice plantations. This lush region is perfect for adventurous safaris, tiger trails, and trekking. En route, visit a rubber plantation. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the spice market. Overnight stay at Periyar.
Spend the day exploring Periyar with optional activities such as a boat ride at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot elephants, birds, sambar deer, and bison.
You can also visit spice plantations to learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other crops, or choose to go trekking.

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom, a charming backwater village on Vembanad Lake. The lush setting, houseboats, and glimpses of local life offer a unique experience. En route, see plantations.

In the morning, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to a variety of migratory birds. Later, explore the village on foot to witness local life, traditional homes, and farming activities. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the natural surroundings.

After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, also known as the “Venice of the East,” with its vast network of backwaters, lakes, and lagoons. In the afternoon, embark on a houseboat cruise through canals lined with temples, paddy fields, and village life. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala meals onboard. In the evening, the houseboat will anchor. After dinner, relax in the serene backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin. If time permits, enjoy shopping on MG Road before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey, leaving you with sweet memories.
