Overview

Start your 6-day and 5-day Sikkim expedition with a transfer from Siliguri to Gangtok. Explore Gangtok like a local, visiting Lhasa Falls, Tsomgo Lake, Kyongnosla, and Baba Mandir.

After that, you will visit Lachen and Lachung and head towards Gangtok to visit Yumthang Valley and Yumthang Hot Spring. Experience the delightful weather and scenic beauty of Sikkim.

Itinerary

Travel to Sikkim for a nature retreat in order to relax in the wilderness. This tour offers a mix of cultural exploration and natural adventure, visiting places like Baba Mandir, Lhasa Falls, and Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary.

Day 1: Arrival at Gangtok−

Upon your arrival at the NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative, who will then transfer you to Gangtok.

After you arrive in Gangtok, you can check into your hotel, then either relax or explore the nearby areas. You can visit the Lhasa Falls, Do Drul Chorte, and Tashiding Monastery before retiring to your hotel room in Gangtok.

Day 2: Sightseeing Tour of Gangtok+

After breakfast, go on a Gangtok sightseeing tour. Head to the distinctive oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake, situated at 3,780 m above sea level.

You can spot a large variety of migratory birds and even the Brahminy Lake from here. On your way back to Gangtok, visit Kyongnosla and then travel to Baba Mandir. After reaching Gangtok, retire to your hotel room for the night.

Day 3: Transfer to Lachen+

After you check out of your hotel, you will head towards Lachen. You will pass through Chungthang Town, where the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu confluence, and enjoy the serene landscapes along the way.

Upon your arrival in Lachen, check into your hotel and head out to explore the local area. Then you can return to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Transfer to Lachung+

After checking out of the hotel, you will begin your journey to Lachung. Visit the Gurudongmar Lake and gaze at the Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Upon reaching Lachung, check into your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Gangtok+

Post checkout, you will be transferred to Gangtok. On your way, enjoy the picturesque scenery and make a stop at Sikkim’s “Valley of Flowers”, Yumthang Valley.

Visit the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary and rejuvenate yourself in the Yumthang hot springs. After you reach Gangtok, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure+

Check out of your hotel, and our representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport.
