Overview

Start your 5-day and 4-night Meghalaya tour with the arrival in Cherrapunji. Explore places like Elephant Falls, Arwah Caves, and Nohkalikai Falls.

After your Cherrapunnji exploration, head to Tyrna Village for a trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge. Next, head towards Shillong, stopping by Dawki to visit the Umngot River.

In Shillong, visit Krang Shuri Falls and the Laitlum Canyon. Your last stop before returning home will be at Guwahati, where you will visit the Kamakhya Devi Mandir, one of the Shakti Peethas.

Itinerary

The Cherrapunji Chronicle Tour is a 4-day, 3-night adventure for tourists, offering thrills for adventure seekers and relaxation for those seeking peace and a nature retreat. You will visit major tourist attractions like Elephant Falls, Krang Shuri Falls, and the Mawsmai Caves.

Day 1: Arrival in Cherrapunji−

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway Station, our representative will pick you up and take you on a scenic drive to Cherrapunji, with a short stop at Umiam Lake.

Then visit the Elephant Falls and Arwah Caves. You can also marvel at the mesmerising Seven Sisters Falls and the Nohkalikai Falls. Later, check into your hotel room and spend the night.

Day 2: Trek at the Double Decker Root Bridge+

You will be transferred to Tyrna Village, where you can start your journey to the Nongriat Double Decker Root Bridge. After you reach Nongriat, marvel at the remarkable bridge built by the Khasi people.

You can continue your trek further, at your own accord and expense, to visit the majestic Rainbow Fall. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cherrapunji.

Day 3: Transfer to Shillong+

After checking out of your hotel, begin your transfer to Shillong. En route, you will visit the Umngot River in Dawki, where you can also opt to go for a boat ride and enjoy various water activities at Shnongpdeng.

Then head to Krang Shuri Falls and later visit Laitlum Canyon. After a long day of exploration and adventure, leave for your hotel in Shillong and check in for the night.

Day 4: Transfer to Guwahati and Departure+

Check out of your hotel, and you will be taken to the renowned Kamakhya Devi Mandir, one of the oldest 51 Shakti Peethas in the world and a place of worship for the Kamakhya Devi.
