Itinerary

Meghala Magical Romance tour is a 5-day and 4-night journey through the best tourist destinations in Meghalaya. Visit places like Umiam Lake, Mawsmai Cave, and Elephant Falls for an enchanting experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Shillong−

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway Station, our representative will pick you up and take you on a scenic drive to Shillong, with a short stop at Umiam Lake.

Check into your hotel upon arrival in Shillong. You can spend this day at leisure, or you can explore the local market and the area nearby. You can visit some tourist attractions, such as Lady Hydari Park, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Shillong Sightseeing+

After a scrumptious breakfast, get driven around to explore the city. You will start your tour with a visit to the All Saints Cathedral, before heading to Ward’s Lake.

Enjoy the picturesque scenery as the lake is surrounded by lush gardens. Then you will continue your journey to the Don Bosco Museum. End your day of adventure and exploration with a visit to the Laitlum Canyon before returning to your hotel room for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Cherrapunji Transfer and Sightseeing+

After your check-out, you will be taken on a picturesque drive to Cherrapunji, stopping en route to visit the mystical Elephant Falls.

Upon reaching Cherrapunji, explore the city, visiting the Seven Sisters Falls and the Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest waterfall in India. Next, visit the Mawsmai Caves and the Arwah Caves for exploration.

After a long, fulfilling day of exploration, retire to your hotel room.

Day 4: Transfer to Shillong via Umngot River+

After checking out of your accommodation, visit the serene riverside village of Shnongpdeng and enjoy water activities like boating and kayaking at your own expense.

As you arrive in Shillong, you can go on to explore the city. Stay for the night in Shillong.

Day 5: Transfer to Guwahati and Departure+

Check out of your hotel, and you will be taken to the renowned Kamakhya Devi Mandir, one of the oldest 51 Shakti Peethas in the world and a place of worship for the Kamakhya Devi.
