Itinerary

Day 1: Tokyo

Once you arrive at Tokyo International Airport, our representative from South Tourism will meet and assist you with a smooth check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing+

Today is a day for sightseeing in Tokyo. Post breakfast, start your visit with Tokyo Tower, the second-tallest structure in Japan. Then move on to visit the classic Imperial Palace Plaza. The residence of Japan’s imperial family is in the exact centre of Tokyo, attracting everyone’s attention with its wonderful ambience. Continue your drive to Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, located in Asakusa.

Come out of the temple and stroll through Nakamise Shopping Street adjacent to the temple entrance. The most visited location in Tokyo is this 250m-long street lined with souvenir shops and food stalls. Try some of the popular dishes native to Tokyo before resuming your visit to Ueno Park, which is renowned for its cherry blossoms in the spring season. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tokyo – Mt. Fuji – Kyoto+

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin your day's trip from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. Proceed to Fuji Visitor Centre, now popular as Fujisan World Heritage Centre, where you get to know about the historic heritage, culture, and tradition of Mount Fuji.

Continue to reach Lake Ashi, situated on the Tokaido Road, which is the main route connecting Tokyo and Kyoto. Take a boat ride on Lake Ashi, and from the lakeside, you will enjoy a spine-chilling ropeway journey to Mt. Komagatake. Experience the thrill-filled moments as you climb in the ropeway. Proceed to Kyoto by a bullet train. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Kyoto Sightseeing+

Start your day with a drive to Nijo Castle, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 16th-century castle is the classical surviving example of Japan’s Feudal era and a marvel of castle architecture. Then, proceed to Kinkakuji Temple, one of the historic monuments of Ancient Kyoto. Built during the 13th century, the building was destroyed by fire, and the present-day structure incorporates elements of Shinden, Samurai, and Zen styles. Next is the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was once the ruling palace of Japan’s Emperor.

After lunch, proceed to Todai-ji Temple in Nara, the Japanese headquarters of the Kegon School of Buddhism, which houses the world’s largest bronze statue of Buddha, known as Daibutsu. It is one of the historic sites in Nara listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Also visit Nara Deer Park, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Nara Nagomikan. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
