The next day, after breakfast, visit the Jakhu temple. It is the highest point in Shimla. It is a temple devoted to Lord Hanuman. It is situated on the Jakkhu hill at an altitude of  8,000 feet.

It features a 108-foot Hanuman statue, which is visible from various places afar. Then, returning from the hill, explore Christ Church. The colonial era built churches that have British colonial architecture. It is one of the prominent tourist destinations and is a must-visit. You can take pictures and enjoy the sunset from there. It is also the second-oldest Church in North India. Return to the hotel by late evening. In the hotel dining area, enjoy your dinner.

After breakfast, with a variety of food options available at the hotel, you can enjoy the sunrise in the mountains. Then you depart for the Mall Road exploration. It stretches along the ridge of the town.

It is the main commercial hub with heritage buildings, shops, and viewpoints. You can explore the shops for traditional clothing options and cuisine. There are cosy cafes to enjoy your food. Then you can also explore the Town Hall, Gaiety Theatre, and Scandal Points.

Overnight Stay:  Shimla

Wake up early for a sunrise view from your room windows. Then head to the dining area for breakfast. After that, take a drive to the Viceregal Lodge, which is the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, tour its Scottish baronial architecture, and the lush meadows.

Then visit Himachal State Museum, which offers a fascinating insight into Himachal’s heritage. There you will get a collection of the Pahari miniature paintings, sculptures, traditional clothes, coins, and archaeological artefacts. 

Summer Hill is a quiet and picturesque suburb of Shimla. It is a perfect hilltop for views, away from the suburbs. You can take leisure walks, take some pictures of the surroundings, and soak in the serene environment. Then head for the Chadwick Falls, a natural attraction that is tucked in the thick deodar forest.

Take a trail amidst the forest area for a refreshing view of the waterfalls. Then transfer to Kufri.

Overnight Stay: Kufri

Have a warm and delicious breakfast. And head out to explore Kufri. There, explore the Kufri fun world, Mahasu Peak, skiing (in winter), and the Himalayan Nature Park(zoo). Moreover, you can explore the Mashobra apple orchard. Then head to the Toy train station for an amusing experience of the UNESCO-listed train travel.

Overnight Stay: Kufri

After having breakfast, head for the Chail village, which is a distance of 60-65 km, and the travel time can be 2.5 to 3 hours. Drive to the tranquil hill nestled in the dense deodar forest. Visit the key attractions, including the historic Chail Palace and the Kali Tibba temple. Visit the hilltop for the breathtaking views. Enjoy the pristine natural surroundings of the region. Then return to Shimla in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

It is the final day of the trip, you can wake up early to have the heartfelt views of the mountains, and then head for breakfast. Later, pack your stuff and check out from the hotel for your transfer to your journey back home.
