Itinerary

This 4-day Wayanad tour from Calicut includes lakes, caves, waterfalls, heritage sites, and wildlife sanctuaries, offering a complete experience of nature, adventure, and cultural exploration.

Day 1: Calicut – Wayanad (100 Kms & 3.5 Hrs)−

Upon your arrival at the Calicut International Airport/Railway Station, you will be received by our executive who will introduce you to your driver. Set off to Wayanad; enroute visit Pookode Lake & Chain Tree known for the steel chain hanging from its upper branches.

Later, on arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while and have your dinner at your preferred hotel in Wayanad and head back to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Wayanad+

Post breakfast, spend the full day for Wayanad sightseeing. History fascinates you at the Edakkal Cave. Believed to date back to 6000 BC, this prehistoric natural cave is a well-known UNESCO certified monument, famous for its painting.

It is among the oldest human settlements ever discovered. Also visit Phantom Rock. It is a natural metamorphic rock formation resembling a human skull. After lunch, drive to Wayanad Heritage Museum - Dating back to the second century, it has one of Kerala's largest collections of remnants which cannot be seen anywhere else in Kerala.

Later drive to Kanthanpara Waterfalls with a shallow pool popular for swimming & which are the only waterfalls open to the public in the vicinity of Kalpetta.

Head back to your hotel for an overnight stay after having a delicious dinner at your preferred hotel in Wayanad.

Day 3: Wayanad+

After a yummy breakfast, proceed to Banasura Sagar Dam. It is the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia. You will also visit Kuruva Island and Karalad Lake. It is the third largest freshwater lake in Kerala and second largest lake in Wayanad on this trip. Evening drive to Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary.

You can hire Jeep (on direct payment basis) to explore wildlife activities in deep jungle. Get back to the hotel, spend your time for shopping, have your dinner at your preferred hotel, and don’t forget to try some lip-smacking Kerala cuisines.

Then, head back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 4: Wayanad – Calicut Drop (100 Kms & 3.5 Hrs)+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive back to Calicut International Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey home with sweet memories of your wonderful vacation in Wayanad.
