Itinerary

This 7-day Kerala package covers Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam, Poovar, and Trivandrum, offering waterfalls, wildlife, beaches, temples, and backwaters for a complete Kerala experience.

Day 1: Arrive Cochin – Munnar

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be received by our representative. Drive to Munnar (04 hrs). En route, stop by Valara and Cheeyapara waterfalls and natural scenic spots.

On reaching Munnar, check in at the hotel. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Munnar+

Get ready for an exciting day exploring Munnar after breakfast. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Kundale, Nallathanni & Mudrapuzha – Munnar is 1600 meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.

Go sightseeing at Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point, and in the afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park, closed January–March due to breeding season) where the rare species of mountain goat, Nilgiri Tahr, can be spotted. Overnight stay at Munnar.

 

Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady+

Post breakfast, start your day with a drive to Thekkady (04 hrs). On arrival at Thekkady, check in at the hotel. After relaxing for a while, you can spend the day exploring Thekkady.

Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick evergreen forest. Activities like boating at Periyar Lake, Kathakali, Kalari (martial art show), and spice plantation tours can also be done on a direct payment basis. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Thekkady – Alleppey+

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (04 hrs). Alleppey is best known for houseboat cruises through the rustic Kerala backwaters.

On arrival at Alleppey, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, visit Sree Krishnaswamy Temple, Lighthouse, Coir Museum, and Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Alleppey – Kovalam+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam, a small coastal town in Kerala. On arrival at Kovalam, check in at the hotel and relax for a while.

In the evening, visit Rock Cut Cave Temple, Marine Aquarium, Lighthouse, and Samudra Beach.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 6: Kovalam – Poovar – Kovalam+

Get ready for an exciting picnic to Poovar Island, which is 20 km away from Kovalam. Surrounded by the Neyyar River, Poovar Island is famous for its mesmerizing natural beauty, where you can witness the rare sight of sea, lake, and river meeting each other.
Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam – Trivandrum Drop+

Check out from the hotel after having a delicious breakfast and start your drive back to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station, feeling contented about the wonderful holiday you spent in God’s Own Country. If time permits, visit the world-famous Padmanabha Swamy Temple at Trivandrum.
