Following breakfast, you are transferred to the train station for a 2-hour train journey to Cordoba, the city which was the most important capital of Europe in the 11th Century. Post breakfast, proceed to the meeting point for the city tour on foot. The 4-hour tour takes you to the great monuments of Mezquita, the Moorish mosque, and to Sinagoga and Juderia. Following the visits, experiment with some Spanish culinary delights at any of the restaurants dotting the streets. Around 1800 hrs we will take you to visit the famous Medina Azahara, the largest known city built from scratch in Western Europe, once the forgotten Versailles of the Middle Ages. After breakfast, you are escorted to the train station for a 2-hour train journey to Sevilla, the capital of the Andalusian Region. Upon arrival, you are met and escorted to the hotel. This is one of the most loved places in Spain and boasts 3000 hours of sun per year! Overnight in Sevilla.
After breakfast this morning, it’s time to explore the city, which is so rich in its history and monuments. Depart around 0900 hrs and start with a visit to the impressive Plaza de España, followed by the Alcazar - the oldest of the Royal Spanish residences. The next stop is the Santa Cruz Quarter - discover mysterious small squares full of orange trees and flower-filled courtyards!
Your tour concludes at the Cathedral, the third-largest church in the world. Enjoy your free time. Try tapas, the typical Spanish dishes, and a glass of Sherry wine in one of the thousands of bars in the city. Overnight in Sevilla.
After breakfast, spend the day as you wish. Around 2030 hrs, you will go for a night tour to see Seville. Drive through the illuminated main streets, squares and fountains before arriving at the extravagant and world-famous Flamenco Show accompanied by dinner. It's time to bid adios to Sevilla. You will be escorted to the train station to board your train to Madrid. You are met and escorted to your hotel.
