Drive to Agartala, Tripura’s capital, visiting Unakoti en route , an archaeological marvel with massive 7th-9th century rock carvings of Lord Shiva amidst waterfalls and forested hills. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Explore Neermahal Palace, a former royal retreat on Lake Rudrasagar, and visit the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple. Later, visit the Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, home to over 150 bird species and the rare Phayre’s Langur. Return to Agartala to visit the Ujjayanta Palace and the Umamaheshwar Temple. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Visit Chabimura, known for 15th-century rock carvings of Hindu deities along the Gomati River, and take an optional boat ride.Later, visit the Akhaura Border and witness the evening Beating Retreat ceremony (subject to schedule). Overnight stay in Agartala.
