Your Central India Wildlife Safari Tour starts from Bhopal, the capital city of India’s heartland - Madhya Pradesh. After arrival in Bhopal, you will be transferred to a resort close to the Sapura National Park.
From there, you will be gradually taken to Pench, Kanha, and Bandhavgarh national parks. While exploring the Satpura National Park, you will witness Indian Bison, wild boar, spotted deer, porcupine, crocodiles, and several other wild animals.
The Pench National Park is home to wild dogs, sloth bears, chikaras, and wolves. It has more than 210 bird species. Your Kanha National Park Safari will make you come across Bengal tigers, sloth bears, leopards, and the endangered barasingha (swamp deer).
The Bandhavgarh National Park is home to the maximum number of Bengal tigers. In addition, it has more than 250 species of birds and mammals.
On the day 1, arrive in Bhopal by air or rail. Bhopal, the state capital of India’s heartland, is a city of lakes, gentle old-world charm, temples, and mosques. Upon arrival, our highly skilled and friendly representative will greet you and take you to the booked hotel in the city.
Take a rest and recover from your journey tiredness. If time allows, walk along the serene Upper Lake and watch the sunset. You can experience the reflection of rays of the setting sun on the lake water.

After taking your breakfast, come out of the hotel for a cultural excursion. The first top of this cultural excursion is the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This site features prehistoric cave paintings that date back to more than 30,000 years. These paintings depict the life of early human beings, conventional dances, and hunting scenes.
Move to Sanchi, which lies in the list of essential Buddhist sites in the world. It is home to the Great Stupa. The peaceful atmosphere with elegant stone carvings makes you ready for the striking wild landscapes that are scheduled ahead. Come back to your hotel in Bhopal by evening.

Take your breakfast at the hotel. Ride in a car or taxi and start moving to the south of Bhopal to reach the Satpura National Park. It is a 3-4-hour drive.
In comparison with other reserves, Satpura offers a true experience of wilderness. It features sandstone hills, deep valleys, and dense forests that are separated by the Denwa River. Check in the resort nearby the Satpura National Park and spend your day soaking in the jungle’s tranquility from your comfort.

Leave your bed early in the morning and come out of the resort for the morning safari. Explore the park by jeep. Your jeep ride will make you come across wildlife like leopards, giant squirrels, sloth bears, wild dogs, and an extensive range of birds. You will enjoy the safari amid bird chirpings.
Come back to the resort to have refreshments or breakfast. Walk around the lodge/resort and enjoy its surroundings in the afternoon. After that, get ready for the evening safari. It offers a different perspective as the forest settles into dusk. The evening safari might be a little shorter depending on the park regulations.

Take your breakfast and be ready for the drive to the Pench National Park. In your journey to eastwards, you will come across farming villages and forested landscapes.
Pench’s open meadows, rolling hills, and teak forests inspired Rudyard Kipling to write The Jungle Book. By the late afternoon, you will reach the booked resort or jungle lodge. From that lodge/resort, enjoy the Pench National Park’s peaceful atmosphere.

Exploring the Pench National Park requires a full day, 9 to 11 hours. Ride in the dedicated jeep and start exploring the park with skilled security guards and a guide. This ride will take you to a close counter to leopards, herds of spotted deer, Indian bison, and tigers. It will last for 3-4 hours.
Return to your jungle lodge or resort for breakfast and leisure time. After taking a rest for some time, ride the jeep for the evening safari. Explore a different part of this park. As the sun starts setting down and the park turns dark, come back to the lodge.

Get ready to drive to the Kanha National Park after taking breakfast in your Pench’s resort/lodge. It is one of India’s most beautiful wildlife lovers.
The Kanha National Park features dense sal forests, vast meadows, and winding streams make jungle safari true exploration of nature. It is a natural habitat for the rare barahsingha, tigers, and hard-ground swamp deer. You will reach a resort close to the Kanha National by afternoon. Check in the booked accommodation and enjoy the natural scenery around it.

Experience this national park through two drives - morning and evening safaris. After breakfast, ride a jeep safari and start exploring the Kanha National Park. During the morning jeep safari, scan the park for tiger movement and be ready to encounter langurs, deer, and varied bird species.
Return to the lodge, take lunch, and relax amid natural sound. Now, move ahead to explore other parts of the Kanha National Park. In the 2nd drive, you will have an increased chance of wildlife encounters. The forest starts cooling down. Come back to the resort/lodge before dusk time.

After having breakfast, start your journey to Bandhavgarh National Park. The park is a reserve area with the highest density of tigers in India. During your journey to Bandhavgarh National Park, come across changing landscapes - from rocky hills to plains and deep forests.
By evening, you will reach Bandhagarh. Check in the lodge/resort booked for you and enjoy a quiet atmosphere and natural scenery around it. Sleep soundly at night to prepare yourself for the thrilling safaris on the next day.

Rise early in the morning, have your breakfast, and be ready for your morning safari in the Bandhavgarg Tiger Reserve. Ride the dedicated jeep and move ahead in your jungle safari. You are most likely to encounter Bengal tigers and various bird species in your morning drive. Keep exploring wildlife in the park and return to the lodge by noon.
Have lunch and take a short rest in the afternoon. The rest will prepare you for another jeep or elephant safari. In the evening safari, you will have another opportunity to encounter more leopards, tigers, several different species of birds, and sambar deer. Come back to your lodge/resort.

Enjoy a second day in the Bandhavgarg National Park. It is a good opportunity to maximise your wildlife sightings. On the 2nd day, you will be taken to the left parts of this tiger reserve. With proper breaks, explore more mammals and bird species during your morning and evening safaris.

On the 12th day of the Central India Wildlife Safari Tour, you will come back to Bhopal. Your journey will start after breakfast.
