Day 1: Bangkok Arrival

Once you arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, one of our representatives in Thailand will receive and assist you for a smooth check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the region around at your own pace. Overnight stay at Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok Sightseeing+

This day is for exploring the beauty of Bangkok. Start with a visit to the Grand Palace, housing many beautiful buildings including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Visit the Royal Regalia Museum with wonderful displays of royal jewelry and proceed to the Reclining Buddha Temple housing 95 pagodas. In the afternoon, enjoy a long-tailed boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and witness Thai life. On the way, visit the Royal Barge Museum, displaying eight stunning royal barges. The boat trip concludes at the Temple of Dawn. Overnight stay at Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok – Chiang Mai+

Today you will fly to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, you will be received by our company personnel and transferred to the hotel. Post-lunch, visit the famous temples of Chiang Mai, including the 700-year-old Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh, and Wat Suan Dok. Rest of the time is at your leisure. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.

Day 4: Chiang Mai Sightseeing+

Start the day by visiting the most sacred place in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a Theravada Buddhist temple built on Doi Suthep Hill, 3,500 feet above sea level. Climb 309 stairs or use the cable car service (chargeable). Next, visit Phu Ping Palace, the winter palace of the Thai Royal Family. If closed, visit Wat Jed Yod instead. In the afternoon, cycle alongside the Ping River through local fruit orchards, lush paddy fields, and visit temples, markets, and a local Thai school. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.

Day 5: Chiang Mai - Day Excursion to Chiang Dao – Chiang Mai+

After breakfast, take a 70 km drive from Chiang Mai to an elephant training center at Ta Yaak Village on the banks of the Mae Ping River. Enjoy an elephant ride through the jungle and along the river. Next, experience bamboo rafting on the Mae Ping River, lasting about one hour. Evening relax at your hotel. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chiang Mai – Cooking Class+

Leave the bustling city and visit a tranquil countryside village for a cooking lesson with a local family. Tour the farm while the chef explains various herbs and ingredients. Choose three courses to cook and enjoy your meal on the terrace. After lunch, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.

Day 7: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai+

Start the day with a 3-hour drive to Chiang Rai, enjoying scenic views en route. Visit Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple with radiant white plaster and mirrored mosaics. Meet local tribal people along the way. Check in at your resort and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Chiang Rai.

Day 8: Chiang Rai – Day Excursion to Golden Triangle – Chiang Rai+

Visit Mae Sai, the border of Thailand and Burma. Cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek in Shan State, Burma, and explore the streets and markets on a tricycle. Next, visit the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. After lunch, visit the Hall of Opium, a museum illustrating the history of the Golden Triangle and opium trade using 3D displays. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Chiang Rai.

Day 9: Chiang Rai Departure+

Check out from the hotel and, based on your departure schedule, you will be assisted to board your flight at Chiang Rai Airport. Tour ends with wonderful memories.
