Itinerary

This Kerala itinerary covers Cochin, Munnar, and Alleppey in 4 days, offering waterfalls, tea estates, wildlife, beaches, temples, and a backwater shikara ride for a perfect short getaway.

Day 1: Arrive Cochin – Munnar−

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be received by our representative. Drive to Munnar (04 hrs). En route, stop by Valara and Cheeyapara waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On reaching Munnar, check in at the hotel. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Munnar+

Get ready for an exciting day exploring Munnar after breakfast. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Kundale, Nallathanni & Mudrapuzha – Munnar is 1600 meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.

Go sightseeing at Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point, and in the afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park, closed January–March due to breeding season), where the rare species of mountain goat, Nilgiri Tahr, can be spotted. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey+

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (06 hrs). Alleppey is best known for houseboat cruises through the rustic Kerala backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, visit Sree Krishnaswamy Temple, Lighthouse, Coir Museum, and Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Alleppey – Cochin+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive back to Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station, feeling contented about the wonderful holiday you spent in God’s Own Country.
