This itinerary is designed in a way where you visit sacred temples of Tripura, like Tripurasundari, Jagannath, Uma Maheswari, Laxminarayan, Gunabati & Bhubaneswari.
Arrive at Agartala Airport or Railway Station, where you’ll be warmly received by Cholan Tours’ representative. Begin your journey with a visit to Durgabari Tea Garden, surrounded by scenic plantations. Proceed to the State Museum and the magnificent Ujjayanta Palace, where you can attend the Light & Sound Show narrating Tripura’s royal history.
Later, visit prominent temples: Jagannath Temple, Uma Maheswari Temple, and Laxminarayan Temple, followed by a peaceful stop at Benuban Bihar, a serene Buddhist monastery. Explore Heritage Park, MBB College, and Purbasha, a state-run handloom and handicraft emporium. In the evening, visit the 14 Gods Temple and the Indo-Bangladesh Akhaura Check Post (open on weekends).
