Kerala, often called God’s Own Country, seamlessly blends tranquillity, culture, and scenic beauty. This itinerary lets you experience two of its most iconic destinations- Munnar and Alleppey, each offering a unique side of Kerala’s charm.
Your journey begins in Cochin, the cultural gateway to Kerala. From there, embark on a picturesque drive through the winding roads of the Western Ghats to Munnar, a hill station carpeted with emerald tea plantations and veiled in cool mist. En route, the beautiful Valera and Cheeyappara Waterfalls provide picture-perfect photo opportunities. In Munnar, you’ll explore highlights such as Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and Rajamala Peak, offering stunning valley views. The Tea Museum adds a fascinating glimpse into Munnar’s tea legacy, while Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point promise leisure and scenic serenity.
The journey then takes you to Alleppey, famous for its intricate network of canals and lagoons. Here, you’ll board a traditional Kerala houseboat, your floating home for a night.
As you drift along the tranquil backwaters, witness lush paddy fields, rustic villages, and waving palms, a scene straight out of a postcard. Freshly cooked Kerala cuisine aboard adds a delicious touch to your experience.
On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, explore Fort Cochin’s colonial landmarks before departure. This short yet fulfilling tour perfectly encapsulates Kerala’s hills, heritage, and houseboat charm, making your weekend truly unforgettable.
