Begin your journey in Cochin and drive to the picturesque hill station of Munnar, stopping enroute at the mesmerizing Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Check in at your hotel and unwind amidst the verdant tea gardens, enjoying a comforting dinner to start your holiday on a delightful note.

Spend the second day exploring Munnar’s highlights. Visit the Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Photo Point, followed by Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), where you can spot the rare Nilgiri Thars. Absorb the breathtaking landscapes, serene valleys, and lush plantations that make Munnar a paradise for nature lovers.

On the third and fourth days, experience Alleppey’s backwaters and houseboat cruises, visit temples, museums, beaches, and explore Marari’s secluded beach village. End your tour with a return to Cochin, taking home memories of Kerala’s cultural richness, natural beauty, and tranquil lifestyle.

Itinerary

This 5-day Kerala tour covers Munnar’s hill stations, Alleppey’s backwaters, and Marari’s beaches, offering a mix of scenic views, cultural experiences, and relaxation for a complete Kerala getaway.

Day 1: Cochin – Munnar

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be received by our representative. Drive to Munnar (04 Hrs). Enroute stop by Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and natural scenic spots.

On reaching Munnar, check in at the hotel. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel and have your delicious dinner at your preferred hotel in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar+

Get ready for an exciting day exploring Munnar, after breakfast. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Kundale, Nallathanni & Mudrapuzha, Munnar is 1600 Meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Go sightseeing at Tata Tea Museum (Closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point and in the afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park will be closed during January to March due to breeding season) where the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted.

Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey+

After scrumptious breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (06 Hrs). Alleppey is best known for houseboat cruises through the rustic Kerala backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, visit Ambalapuzha Sree Krishnaswamy Temple, Bay Island Driftwood Museum, Alleppey Lighthouse, Marai Beach, Alleppey beach, etc. If time permits, you can go for a short shikara boat ride in the backwaters of Alleppey. Once you have enjoyed the day to the fullest, come back to your hotel after having your tasty dinner at Alleppey.

Note: In case you prefer a Houseboat Stay, check in to the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day in the houseboat, indulging in the exceptional and soul-soothing beauty of God's Own Country. Satisfy yourself with the traditional Kerala lunch, evening tea with traditional Kerala snacks, and delicious dinner served onboard. If you wish, go shopping in the evening at nearby local markets (at your own expense) as well as explore the typical village life of Kerala. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 4: Alleppey – Marari+

 After your delicious breakfast check out from the hotel/houseboat and drive to Marari, a secluded little-known beach destination as well as Kerala’s traditional fishing village. It offers endless miles of sandy beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience the local charm and traditional Kerala hospitality at its best. Check in at the hotel and relax for a while.

In the evening, walk to the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunset scenes and explore the local village life at Marari. After sightseeing, return to your pre-booked hotel for a peaceful night's sleep, followed by a delicious

Day 5: Marari – Cochin+

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin your drive back to Cochin Airport/ Ernakulam Railway Station, feeling contented about the wonderful holiday you spent in God's Own Country.

Does the package include both hotel and houseboat options in Alleppey?

Yes. The itinerary allows you to choose between a hotel stay and an authentic Kerala houseboat experience in Alleppey. If you opt for the houseboat, all meals (lunch, tea, snacks, dinner, breakfast) are included. Hotel stays include breakfast, and other meals are at your preference.

Are all sightseeing spots in Munnar, Alleppey, and Marari included in the package cost?

All the mentioned sightseeing points, Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls, Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Ambalapuzha Temple, Driftwood Museum, Alleppey Lighthouse, Marari Beach, and more, are covered in the itinerary. This trip includes private AC vehicle transfers throughout, airport/railway pickup in Cochin, all intercity drives (Cochin - Munnar - Alleppey - Marari - Cochin), sightseeing, and a final drop.

Is Eravikulam National Park guaranteed?

The visit to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) is included only if the park remains open. Please note the park closes from January to March for the Nilgiri Tahr breeding season. In such cases, alternate nearby viewpoints or tea plantation visits will be arranged.
