Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Exploring the Heritage of India’s First UNESCO World Heritage City

Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station in the morning, where our representative will greet and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in begin your exploration of Ahmedabad’s architectural and spiritual landmarks. Visit the Sabarmati Ashram, once home to Mahatma Gandhi, where you can retrace India’s freedom struggle through preserved artifacts and peaceful surroundings. Then to Adalaj Stepwell, a 15th-century marvel known for its intricate carvings and step architecture, followed by Sarkhej Roza, an elegant complex blending Persian, Hindu, and Islamic design influences. End the day at the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, renowned for its world-famous lattice window—the “Tree of Life.” In the evening, explore the vibrant local markets of Manek Chowk or enjoy authentic Gujarati thali at a traditional restaurant. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Vadodara+

After breakfast, check out and drive to Vadodara, a city steeped in royal elegance and cultural refinement. On arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Laxmi Vilas Palace, one of the largest private residences in the world, still home to the royal family of Baroda. Its Indo-Saracenic architecture, ornate interiors, and sprawling gardens showcase the grandeur of the Gaekwad dynasty. Next, visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, housed within the palace estate, featuring an exquisite collection of European paintings, royal portraits, sculptures, and artifacts. Note: The Laxmi Vilas Palace and Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum remain closed on Mondays. Overnight stay in Vadodara.

Day 3: Vadodara – Day Excursion to the Statue of Unity at Kevadia – Vadodara+

Today, after breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to Kevadia (approx. 2 hours one way) to witness the world-famous Statue of Unity, dedicated to India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Standing tall at 182 meters, this engineering masterpiece is the world’s tallest statue and a symbol of national pride. Explore the Valley of Flowers, Sardar Sarovar Dam Viewpoint, and Laser Light & Sound Show (optional) in the evening that brings Patel’s legacy to life. The Statue Viewing Gallery offers panoramic views of the Narmada River and surrounding hills. Spend some time at the Unity Glow Garden and Jungle Safari, both popular attractions in the Kevadia complex. Later, return to Vadodara for an overnight stay.
Note: The Statue of Unity remains closed on Mondays.

Day 4: Departure from Vadodara - Ahmedabad+

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Vadodara Airport or Ahmedabad Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Gujarat’s heritage, royal splendor, and the inspiring story of India’s unity and resilience.
