Your journey begins at Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s border town, where local markets introduce you to Bhutanese life. Travel onward to Thimphu, the capital city, blending tradition and modernity. Visit the National Library, Handmade Paper Mill, Folk Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, and enjoy panoramic views from the Buddha Dordenma viewpoint.

Continue through breathtaking mountain scenery to Phobjikha Valley, a glacial valley famous for its natural beauty and the Black-Necked Crane Conservation Centre, accessed via the scenic Dochula Pass. Drive further into central Bhutan to Bumthang, the spiritual heartland of the country, visiting sacred temples such as Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tang Valley, and the historic Ogyen Choling Palace.

Journey westward via Pele La Pass, stopping at the impressive Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong, before reaching Punakha, home to the majestic Punakha Dzong set at the confluence of two rivers.

In Paro, explore Bhutan’s heritage at Ta Dzong National Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang, and Drukgyel Dzong. The highlight of the tour is the unforgettable Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang) hike, perched dramatically on a cliffside and considered Bhutan’s most iconic landmark.

Conclude your journey with a scenic drive back to Phuentsholing, departing Bhutan with peaceful memories of monasteries, valleys, mountain passes, and authentic Bhutanese culture.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport - Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra airport, you will be met and assisted by our local representative. Drive to Phuentsholing and Transfer to hotel for check-in. Sort refresh and late evening explore the local market. Return back to hotel and overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing - Thimphu+

Post breakfast, check out the hotel and driver to Thimphu. Transfer to hotel for check -in and spend leisure for the day. Overnight stay in Thimphu

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing's+

Post breakfast, proceed to visit the handmade paper mill, folk heritage museum, National library, Chorten Memorial and Buddha viewpoint. Return back to hotel and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu - Phobjikha+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to phobjikha. Enroute visit to Dochu - La pass and black necked crane conversation centre. Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest of the day for leisure. Overnight stay in Phonjikha.

Day 5: Phobjikha - Bumthang+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bumthang. Enroute visit to Gangtey goempa and Pele la pass. Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest of the day for leisure. Overnight stay in Bumthang.

Day 6: Bumthang Sightseeing's+

Post breakfast, proceed to visit the Jampay Lhakhang, Kurey Lhakhang, Tang village and O'Chholing palace. Return back to hotel and overnight stay in Bumthang.

Day 7: Bumthang - Punakha+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Punakha. Enroute visit to Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong of Trongsa. Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest of the day for leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 8: Punakha - Paro+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to paro. Transfer to hotel check -in for short refresh and proceed to visit Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lakhang and Ta- Dzong National museum.

Return back to hotel and overnight stay in Paro.

Day 9: Paro Sightseeing's+

Post breakfast, proceed to hiking for the Tiger nest temple and return back to hotel. Leisure for the day and overnight stay in Paro.

 

Day 10: Paro - Phuentsholing+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Phuentsholing. Transfer to hotel for check-in and Rest of the day will be leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

 

Day 11: Phuentsholing - Departure from Bagdogra Airport+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drop at Bagdogra Airport to catch your flight.
