Your journey begins in Madurai, the temple city, where you’ll explore the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, and Koodal Azhagar Temple. Rich in history and heritage, Madurai sets the tone for this culturally vibrant tour.

From there, continue to Rameswaram, a sacred pilgrimage site closely tied to the Ramayana. Visit the legendary Ramanathaswamy Temple, the Dr Abdul Kalam Memorial, and the haunting ruins of Dhanushkodi, while admiring the engineering marvel of Pamban Bridge.

The journey then takes you to Kanyakumari, India’s southern tip, where the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean meet. Explore the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Kumari Amman Temple before heading to Kovalam. The final stop offers a refreshing coastal retreat with sandy beaches, a lighthouse, Poovar Island, and the charm of Kerala’s seaside culture.

Itinerary

This 5-day package covers Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, and Kovalam, offering a mix of temples, heritage sites, coastal viewpoints, and serene beaches for a complete South India experience.

Day 1: Madurai−

Once you arrive at Madurai, our representative will receive you and assist you with a smooth check-in at the hotel. After relaxing for a while, begin your Madurai sightseeing with the Meenakshi Amman temple, one of India's grandest temples.

Marvel at the architecture and the intricately carved sculptures in the temple premises. Proceed to the Gandhi Museum. Later, visit Tirumalai Nayakar Palace, the royal residence of the Nayak Rulers.

Before returning to the hotel, visit Koodal Azhagar temple, a prominent shrine for Lord Vishnu. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 2: Madurai - Rameswaram+

Post breakfast, start your drive to Rameswaram, revered as South Kasi. Witness the stunning architecture of the Pamban Bridge. After checking into the hotel, relax for a while. Next, visit Ramanathaswamy temple, which holds significant relevance to the great Indian epic Ramayana.

After conquering the demon king Ravan, it is believed that Lord Rama did a special pooja to the presiding deity here. In that way, the temple became very significant. Also, the longest corridors with intricately carved sculptures on both sides receive universal admiration.

Also visit Agni Theertham, the Floating stone (believed to have been used during the construction of Ramasethu Bridge when Lord Rama and his battalions wanted to cross the sea), and Ramar Patham (believed to be the imprint of Lord Rama's feet during his visit here).

Before returning to the hotel, visit Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s Memorial and take a short excursion to Dhanushkodi, the razed city after its destruction in 1964. Return to the hotel after visiting all the locations. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.

Day 3: Rameswaram - Kanyakumari+

After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. Upon reaching, check into the hotel and visit Kumari Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Devi Kanyakumari. Later, enjoy the spectacular sunset (depending on weather conditions) before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Kanyakumari - Kovalam+

Check out of the hotel and visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, located on a small island, and the Thiruvalluvar Statue, dedicated to the accomplished philosopher and poet Thiruvalluvar.

Also, visit the Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam before starting your drive to Kovalam, the exotic beach destination of Kerala. Check into the hotel and relax for a while. Visit the Rock Cut Cave Temple, Marine Aquarium, Lighthouse, and Samudra Beach before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 5: Kovalam - Trivandrum+

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Trivandrum. Based on your departure schedule, if time permits, visit the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple at Trivandrum, a revered shrine in Sri Vaishnavism, a subsect of Hinduism. The tour ends with happy memories to be cherished.
