Itinerary

Day 1: Reaching Ujjain
Upon arriving in Ujjain, our executives will help you to achieve a hassle-free transfer to your hotel and will also lead you to various key attractions in the city.

On the first day, you can visit the famous Kal Bhairav Temple, which is famous for its unique ritual where alcohol is served to Lord Shiva, and enjoy a scenic sunset from the Ram Ghat located on the Shipra River.
Day 2: Visiting Mahakaleshwar Temple+
On the Second day, you can start early by visiting the Mahakaleshwar Jyotilinga Temple, which features a unique architectural style.

The temple features Mahakal Lingam, who is considered to be the lord of time, and is the only Swayambhu, or self-manifested lingam, among the other twelve.

In the Mahakaleshwar Temple, the main attraction to wait for is the Bhashma Aarti, which is performed every day, and in this, sacred ash is offered to the deity.
Day 3: Ujjain to Indore+
On the third day of the tour, you can move forward to Indore, which is ranked as the cleanest city in India. The city also offers various key attractions and temples, like the Kanch Mandir and Khajrana Ganesh Temple.

In Indore, you can also visit various historic palaces, like the Rajwada Palace and Lal Bagh Palace.
Day 4: Visiting Omkareshwar Temple+
On the final day of the tour, you need to travel about 3 hours from Indore to reach the Omkareshwar Jyotilinga Temple. The temple is situated in the land temple town of Omkareshwar, which offers both divine experience and scenic views.

What is the best season to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple?

Generally, the summer season, i.e. April to June, and monsoon season, i.e. July to September, see fewer crowds, whereas the October to March is considered the peak tourist season.

What are the famous places to visit near Indore?
