Leh Arrival – Leh 2N - Nubra 1N – Pangong 1N – Leh 1N (via Changla Pass) – Leh Drop

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization and Leisure

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (3,500 m), where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The first day is set aside for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude, a crucial step before beginning your Himalayan adventure. In the late afternoon, if you feel comfortable, visit the Hall of Fame Museum — a proud tribute to the bravery of the Indian Army and the history of Ladakh. Return to your hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Exploring Leh – Culture, Heritage & Local Markets+

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with the Shanti Stupa, an iconic white-domed monument perched on a hilltop offering sweeping views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains—an especially magical sight at sunset. Next, explore the historic Leh Palace, a 17th-century architectural gem. In the evening, stroll through Leh Market, where colorful Tibetan handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and aromatic local teas make perfect souvenirs. Enjoy a relaxed evening soaking in Leh’s warm hospitality before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass+

Today, after an early breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. The drive offers spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and deep valleys as you descend into the lush green oasis of Nubra. On arrival, check into your hotel or camp and freshen up before visiting Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in the valley, known for its magnificent 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the Shyok River. Later, head to Hunder Sand Dunes, a high-altitude desert where you can enjoy an optional camel safari. As the sun sets, the valley transforms into a canvas of gold and pink hues, offering unmatched photo opportunities. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley under a canopy of stars.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route+

After breakfast, begin your scenic journey along the Shyok River, driving through dramatic mountain landscapes, rugged cliffs, and pristine streams. Arrive at Pangong Tso Lake, one of Asia’s most breathtaking natural lakes, known for its surreal shades of blue that shift with the day’s light. On arrival, check into your lakeside camp or resort and spend your afternoon wandering along the tranquil shores, soaking in the serenity and photographing the lake’s vivid reflections. As night falls, witness a sky full of stars mirrored on the still waters — a moment that defines Ladakh’s ethereal beauty. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass+

After breakfast, drive back to Leh crossing the mighty Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), one of the most scenic routes in Ladakh. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery, a magnificent hilltop complex often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, home to a grand Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest and richest in Ladakh, known for its beautiful thangkas and ancient artifacts. Also visit Shey Palace, the former summer residence, If time allows, stop at Druk White Lotus School (popularly known as Rancho’s School from “3 Idiots”) and Sindhu Ghat, a serene riverside spot honoring the mighty Indus. Arrive in Leh by evening, unwind at your hotel, and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring cafés or shopping for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Departure from Leh+

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. As your trip concludes, take with you unforgettable memories of high mountain passes, sacred monasteries, and the tranquil beauty of Nubra and Pangong — the timeless essence of Ladakh.
