As they passed over this location, seven drops of the snake's blood fell to the earth, transforming into rivulets.

Realizing the sanctity of these waters, the King proclaimed that bathing in this river would purge one of all sins. Henceforth, people have journeyed to this temple to immerse themselves in its hallowed river and attain purification.
