• By Train: The closest railway station is Udhagamandalam (Ooty) Railway Station, which is connected through the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway from Mettupalayam. Travellers can also reach Mettupalayam Railway Station, about 50 km from Ooty, which connects to major cities like Coimbatore and Chennai. From Ooty railway station, taxis and local vehicles are easily available to reach Tiger Hills.
• By Road: Ooty has a well-developed road network connecting it to major cities in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states. Regular buses operate from Coimbatore, Mysuru, and Bengaluru to Ooty.
