Travel further south to Kanyakumari, where three oceans meet and spectacular sunsets create unforgettable memories.

Cross into Kerala and discover the coastal charm of Kovalam, renowned for its golden beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy an enchanting excursion to Poovar, where serene backwaters, mangrove forests, and the Arabian Sea create breathtaking scenery. The journey concludes in Trivandrum with a visit to the world-famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Madurai Airport  meet our tour representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin exploring one of India's oldest living cities. Visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, showcasing impressive Indo-Saracenic architecture, grand courtyards, and beautifully designed pillars. then in the evening visit the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, an architectural marvel famous for its towering gopurams, colorful sculptures, and vibrant spiritual atmosphere.. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Rameshwaram, one of the holiest destinations in Hinduism. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Visit the world-famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, renowned for its magnificent corridors, sacred wells, and religious significance as one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Continue to Ramar Patham, believed to preserve the footprints of Lord Rama, and Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, associated with the Ramayana legend. In the evening, explore the local market area and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the island town. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Visit the revered Bhagavathy Amman Temple and witness the unique meeting point of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular sunset views for which Kanyakumari is famous. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and Continue to the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue, an important cultural landmark honoring the Tamil poet-saint. Visit the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where you can drive thought motor boat which is again a great experiece (operational based on windmoment) located amidst the sea and dedicated to Swami Vivekananda. then proceed towards Kovalam. En route, visit the magnificent Padmanabhapuram Palace, a masterpiece of traditional Kerala architecture featuring intricately carved wooden interiors, royal chambers, and historical artifacts. Continue your journey to Kovalam and check in at the hotel. Later, relax at the famous Kovalam Beach  known for their golden sands, swaying coconut palms, and scenic coastal views. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the Arabian Sea. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for an unforgettable excursion to Poovar, one of Kerala's most scenic backwater destinations. Enjoy a relaxing 01 motorboat cruise through tranquil backwaters lined with mangrove forests, coconut groves, and charming fishing villages. Witness the spectacular confluence of the Neyyar River, Arabian Sea, and backwaters, creating one of Kerala's most unique natural landscapes. Capture stunning photographs and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. Return to Kovalam by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Trivandrum. Visit the world-renowned Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of India's richest and most revered temples, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the Anantha Shayanam posture. Depending on departure schedules, enjoy some free time for local shopping or sightseeing. Later, transfer to Trivandrum Airport  for your onward journey carrying wonderful memories of South India's temples, beaches, and backwaters.

Booking and Payment

  1. Group tours are meant exclusively for Indian nationals and residents, unless otherwise specifically stated.
  2. Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment and are subject to availability.
  3. 60% of the total tour cost is required as a deposit at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  4. The balance payment must be paid at least 30 days before the departure date.
  5. You can pay by Bank Transfer, NEFT/RTGS/ Credit/Debit card.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  1. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Cholan Tours booking office.
  2. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
    • 30 days or more before departure: 10% of the total tour cost.
    • 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
    • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be applicable.
  3. In the event of a no-show or failure to join the tour after commencement, no refund will be provided.
  4. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10–15 business days from the date of receipt of the cancellation request.
  5. Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway charges, or transaction fees incurred during the refund process may be deducted from the refundable amount.

Any non-refundable charges levied by hotels, airlines, transport providers or other suppliers will be deducted from the refundable amount

Travel Documents and Identity Requirements

Travellers must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID) throughout the tour. It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure all required documents are valid.

Group Size and Operations

  1. Group allocations are fixed and cannot be changed after the booking has been confirmed.
  2. Tours will operate as scheduled and will not be cancelled or rescheduled due to low participation.

Accommodation

  1. Standard hotel check-in/check-out timings are as per hotel policy
  2. Accommodation will be on twin/double/triple sharing unless a single room is booked and paid for.
  3. Room preferences are subject to availability.
  4. Children aged 8 years and above will be considered adults and charged at the applicable adult rate.

Itinerary Changes

Cholan Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather, road conditions, government regulations, operational reasons, or other circumstances beyond its control. Any additional expenses arising from such changes shall be borne by the traveller.

Tour Manager's Decision

During the tour, the Tour Manager's decisions regarding timings, seating arrangements, itinerary execution and group discipline will be final and must be respected by all participants.

 Traveller Conduct

Cholan Tours reserves the right to refuse or discontinue the tour of any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or causes inconvenience to other travellers, without any refund.

Health and Safety Requirements

  1. Travellers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special medical requirements at the time of booking.
  2. Travellers are responsible for their own health and medical expenses during the tour. Cholan Tours will assist wherever reasonably possible during emergencies.
  3. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Travellers are advised to carry a copy of their travel insurance policy and emergency contact details throughout the tour.
  4. Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to undertake the tour and to participate in the activities included in the itinerary.

Liability and Disclaimer

  1. Cholan Tours acts only as a facilitator between travellers and service providers such as hotels, transport operators, airlines and activity providers. While every effort is made to ensure smooth operations, Cholan Tours shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, injury, accident, damage or additional expenses arising from the services of third-party providers or circumstances beyond its control.
  2. Travellers are advised to read and understand these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming their booking. Confirmation of the booking shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
