Tour Overview

Kerala Highlights is a thoughtfully crafted 5-night, 6-day group tour that offers an all-encompassing journey through God's Own Country, covering its most iconic destinations and experiences. The tour begins in Cochin, Kerala's vibrant gateway city, where colonial history comes alive through the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry.

From Cochin, the journey ascends to Munnar, the celebrated Queen of Hill Stations, where rolling tea estates, the endangered Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park, the Tata Tea Museum, and scenic spots like Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam paint a picture of natural splendour. En route, the cascading Vallara and Cheeyappara waterfalls offer a memorable first glimpse of Kerala's lush landscape.

The tour then moves to Thekkady, home to the famed Periyar Tiger Reserve, where a serene boat ride on Periyar Lake offers rare wildlife encounters. A guided spice plantation tour and a visit to a honey farm bring travellers closer to Kerala's rich agricultural heritage. A Kathakali cultural performance adds a layer of authentic tradition to the experience.

The journey culminates in Alleppey, the Venice of the East, with an overnight stay aboard a deluxe traditional houseboat, drifting through Kerala's iconic backwater network past paddy fields, coconut groves, and quiet village life. The package covers all meals, AC transport, entrance fees, curated activities, a dedicated tour manager, travel insurance, and gratuities throughout.
