Tour Overview

Enchanting Kerala is a thoughtfully designed 5-night, 6-day group tour that takes travellers through the most captivating and diverse landscapes Kerala has to offer, with a distinctive final chapter in the quieter, lesser-explored village beauty of Kumarakom. The tour begins at Cochin Airport with a scenic drive to Munnar, passing the spectacular Vallara and Cheeyappara waterfalls en route. Two full days in Munnar allow for an immersive experience of Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, the historic Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, and the scenic Echo Point. A traditional Kalari martial arts performance rounds off the hill station experience on a culturally rich note.

From Munnar, the tour moves to Thekkady, where the iconic Periyar Tiger Reserve offers a serene wildlife boat ride on Periyar Lake. A guided spice plantation tour and visit to a honey farm bring travellers close to Kerala's rich spice heritage and rural agricultural life.

The Alleppey leg delivers one of Kerala's most iconic experiences, an overnight stay aboard a deluxe traditional houseboat, drifting through the tranquil backwaters past coconut groves, paddy fields, and quiet village shores, with freshly prepared Kerala meals served on board.

The tour's most distinctive leg is Kumarakom, a picturesque lakeside village on the banks of Vembanad Lake. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to a rich variety of migratory and resident bird species, and an immersive traditional village walk offer travellers a rare, unhurried encounter with Kerala's authentic rural character, a refreshing contrast to the more frequented tourist trail.

The package includes all meals, AC transport, comfortable accommodations, entrance fees, curated activities, a dedicated tour manager, travel insurance, and gratuities throughout.
