White Water Rafting

White water rafting, an adventure water sport, is available in Bheemeshwari, Coorg and Dandeli. You will sail on the Kali River, the Sitanadi River, and the Cauvery River to feel the thrilling experience. You will be made a group with the rest of the adventure community seekers. You can select your stretchable distance and hours. Adventure seeking, anyone can take this sport. Swimming is not a necessary skill to sail through rafting, as you are fully covered with life jackets, helmets and an instructor who sails with you. Once you are ready with your safety measures and have enough confidence, you can take your paddle and reach your raft like a soldier approaching the battle. When you reach the middle, here comes the surprise element. You are asked to jump out of the raft and get wet on the river; this action is to make yourself comfortable with water. Pulling everyone into the raft is yet another humorous activity. A sense of achievement will appear on your face while screaming out at the finish line. It’s also suitable for people who wish to overcome their anxiety and fear of water rafting, as there is always a hand when you require assistance. Gear up and take your paddle!

Trekking

Love to walk through woods and feel non-polluted air on your face, then Karnataka is the best place, as it is mostly surrounded by the Western Ghats to wake up the adventurous man in you. There are ample places to trek in Karnataka, which makes it difficult for you to choose among them. Particularly, Chikmagalur and Coorg have a lot more opportunities to feed the hiking hunger in you. There are so many trekking opportunities to explore, I am just briefing on two frequently trekked places.

Kumara Parvatha Trek, Coorg

Get blessings from the Lord Shanmuga temple and start your trail peacefully. Kumara Parvatha trek, also known as Pushpagiri trek, is the head of all trekking spots in Karnataka. The total length of your trail would be 21 km; therefore, pack essentials in your bag to avoid dehydration. The way to reach the top is to walk through the dense green carpet. On your trail, there are a lot of supporting bodies to guide you through your trail. Pushpagiri wildlife sanctuary is at the bottom of the KP trek, so the forest department is there to support you. There exists a signboard in the woods to prevent you from getting lost. There is no worry about trekking on a sunny day, as you are fully covered by dense forest; no chance to feel the sun. Gain enough confidence to trek the Father of Karnataka trek.

Kemmangundi, Chikkmagalur

Hebbe Falls in Kemmangundi is most famous among trekking communities for its serene view. It has another name, Krishnarajendra Hills, which is named by paying due respect to Krishnaraja Wodeyar. Kemmangundi was the famous summer destination for the Wodeyar dynasty. You have to trail through the off-road and reach our destination, Hebbe Falls. You will be amazed by seeing the water density, though, in the summer season. When you step into the water, your nerves will feel the cold, surrounded by a beautiful climate. It is one of the salubrious destinations in Karnataka. On your way, just visit Z-point for the 360-degree view of the awesome Western Ghats.

Rock climbing:

Ever thought about climbing a rock like Spiderman? Karnataka provides the way for your fantasy.Rock climbingname itself gives you a sporty feeling. It requires a challenge-loving mindset and physical fitness. Ramanagara, Hampi, Badami, Savanadurga, and Kabbal Durga are some of the places where you can see people clinging to the rock. As it needs more physical effort, make sure you pack enough water, a cap, sunglasses and sunscreen lotion to prevent tanning. Karnataka has a place for both beginners and professional climbers. Do you have the desire to go rock climbing but haven’t explored it before? We are pleased to take guidance from Professional climbers, as it is an adventure sport.

Bird watching:

Heard that bird watching is a hobby for many. When I researched it, there are a lot of communities where people put their foot and soul into it. Love to watch birds and get mesmerised by the chirping rhythm, then Karnataka is the perfect destination for you. Karnataka is covered by 32,000 km of dense green area that paved the way for a handful of national parks. Nagarhole, Kudremukh, B R Hills and Bhadra are major national parks and reserve forests which hold millions of species to explore. You can frequently inspect the bar-headed geese conglomerate on your path. It is the kingdom of wild animals and birds, where you can spot spotted deer, boar and elephants more often.

Aero-sports:

Like to fly around like a bird in the sky? Here is the place for you to fulfil your desires. In Karnataka, you can have paragliding. By participating in these sports, you can experience the real adrenaline rush and butterflies flying in your stomach. Para-sailing is when you are loaded with a parachute and tied to a boat or something. When a boat or a vehicle starts its operation, you will be flying in the sky. Hoskote Lake and Nandi Hills are the locations where this sport is executed. Paragliding is when you have control over the glider aircraft. You will be suspended in a fabric wing. Fly around and have the awe-inspiring bird’s view in the air.
