If your interest is to be away from the crowd and sit and relax, Kodai also has exotic places like that, Poombarai. But it is a little far from Kodaikanal; you have to travel 20 km from the bustle and hustle of Kodai. The way from Kodai to Poombarai is spell-binding. I assure you that you will love the journey.
