HAL Aerospace Museum

HAL Aerospace Museum set up in Bangalore in the South Indian state Karnataka takes us through a virtual journey of Indian Aviation Forces over the years. The HAL heritage center and Aerospace Museum exhibits the growth of the Aviation industry in a phased manner, a truly interesting sequence to know about.

What to see in HAL Aerospace Museum:

The museum sprawling across a 4acres lush green field houses two halls, where the first one has series of photographs and charts talking about the exciting journey of Indian Aviation and Aerospace industry. The second hall exhibits the motorized cross sections of various engines, both models and real time ones. You can also visit the outdoor aircrafts and radar, library with plenty of books on aerospace engineering, AV facilities for better insights and lot more.

How to Reach HAL Aerospace Museum:

HAL Aerospace Museum is located at a distance of 17kms from Bangaluru City Railway station and it will take an hour’s drive from Bengaluru airport to reach the destination.

Best Time to Visit:

October to February will be the best time to visit Bengaluru. March to May will be equally good and the climate will be very pleasant.

Entry Timings to visit HAL Aerospace Museum:

The Museum is open to public on all days of the year from 9.00AM to 5.00PM

Human Brain Museum @ NIMHANS

Human Brain Musuem, the only one of its kind in India, is set up in Bengaluru, the capital city of the South Indian State Karnataka. The brain museum is housed inside the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences(NIMHANS) campus. As it is one of a kind museum, not found everywhere, it is in the list Must be visited places for the travelers and the local residents alike.

What to see in Brain Musuem?

Have an amazing experience of holding the brain in your hands, feel the texture of the brain and spinal cord by touching it. Know about the different ailments associated with the brain. The exhibits include more than 600 brains, spinal cords (both normal and Diseased). Some of the organs can be seen very closely in multidimensional angles. The guided tour gives you more insight into the most important organs of our body.

How To Reach Brain Museum?

NIMHANS is at a distance of 40kms from Bengaluru airport. Rented cabs can take you to the destination with ease.

Best Time to visit Brain Museum:

October to February will be the best time to visit Bengaluru. March to May will be equally good and the climate will be very pleasant.

Entry Timings :

Monday to Friday :  2.30 PM to 4.30 PM

Saturday: 10.00AM to 1.00PM & 2.30PM to 4.30PM

Museum is closed on Sundays, 2nd Saturdays and Public Holidays
